In this unit, we're going to be investigating how to address a resistant audience through argument. It is easy to convince those who agree with your general premise. Getting agreement from those who disagree fundamentally with your underlying assumptions is another task!

In our discussions, we'll take a look at an argument directed to a resistant audience, which will serve as a model for Essay #3 in this unit.
