Read Chapter 1, “Argument: An Introduction” (pages 2-16) in Writing Arguments.
Read Chapter 15, “Finding and Evaluating Sources” (pages 340-358) in Writing Arguments.
Read Chapter 11 (pages 189-240) in the Writer’s Harbrace Handbook (This has much the same information, just presented in a different way).
Watch “For Argument’s Sake”.

In no way am I holding you responsible for knowing all the content, but I do want you to read it, understand it, and remember that this is where you can find advice on finding outside sources.
